FIBROSCAN is a non-invasive, painless test using an ultrasound machine that measures the health of your liver. It is called non-invasive as nothing enters your body. It measures your liver’s elasticity (stiffness/scarring) and steatosis (fatty change). Fatty change is when fat builds up in your liver cells.
